Kelly Falardeau's New Self Esteem Help Book Reveals Secrets To Feeling Greater Than Great

Kelly Falardeau, a burn survivor and international speaker, released a book with tips for building self esteem. Her new self esteem book titled 'Self Esteem Doesn't Come in a Bottle' is a powerful compilation of her secrets plus more.

STONY PLAIN, AB, October 24, 2011 /Publishing and Books PR News/ -- Many times Kelly Falardeau was approached by women who said they had the 'magic in a bottle' to make her scars disappear and make her beautiful. Falardeau didn't believe them though and knew that the magic would have to come from her heart and soul. In her new book 'Self Esteem Doesn't Come in a Bottle', Falardeau shares her secrets to building self esteem.

An accident when she was two caused Falardeau to suffer severe burns on 75 percent of her body. As a result, she has undergone years of painful surgeries to treat the burns and was teased mercilessly as a child. She struggled to find her self esteem even amongst all the staring, teasing and whispering.

Falardeau believes that it takes a lot of internal work when developing self esteem. "It's about learning how to stop calling yourself names, loving the little parts of you, rejecting other people's opinions, and learning how to laugh at yourself. By choosing to include empowering people in your life, you will realize that even the weeds are beautiful. Ultimately, celebrating the little successes can help you develop a healthy self esteem," explains Falardeau, author of 'Self Esteem Doesn't Come in a Bottle' (http://www.mykellyf.com/).

In her latest self esteem book, not only does Falardeau reveal her top secrets to developing self esteem, but she also asked 40 of her friends who have great self esteem to contribute their secrets as well. Special contributors include Charmaine Hammond, bestselling author of 'On Toby's Terms'; Sheri Fink, bestselling author of 'The Little Rose'; Marsh Engel, creator of the worldwide Amazing Woman's Day; LuAn Mitchell, who took her deceased husband's bankrupt business to a value of $450 million; and Daniel Guiterrez, a world transformational leader.

Falardeau entered the Every Woman Model Search competition in Canada, but her story is not that of your typical beauty queen. Against all odds Falardeau made it into the Top 10 from among 1,500 contestants and was the winner of the People's Choice Award.

It took a lot of courage for Falardeau, who had spent all her life avoiding the spotlight, to walk the catwalk in front of hundreds of people. Her winning the People's Choice Award is an indication that her message of true beauty and self esteem has touched many people. Along with winning the People's Choice Award, she was also recognized as a 'Fierce Woman of the Year' by Mom Magazine.

Falardeau developed a companion Action Guide to 'Self Esteem Doesn't Come in a Bottle' plus a set of audio CD's to further enhance her self esteem program.

"This book is full of golden nuggets that are sure to help everyone. I want teenagers and people around the world to realize that self esteem help doesn't come from any type of bottle -- not a makeup bottle, a Botox bottle or even a bottle filled with alcohol. Instead, it comes from within," says Falardeau.

Falardeau is currently implementing a campaign to help the book hit the bestseller charts and spread her message even further.

"Kelly Falardeau is giving the Universe a beautiful gift with her new release. This book reminds us how important self love is for our own well-being. She gives us the tools that we can use to build & strengthen our self esteem through powerful testimonial. An inspirational page turner." By Troy Payne BestSelling Author, The Road to Resiliency

An excerpt from 'Self Esteem Doesn't Come in a Bottle':

'Makeup just doesn't make me feel beautiful, I don't know why. When I put it on my face, it feels like I'm wearing a mask, it doesn't bring me that feeling of beauty, I haven't worn make-up since I was 20-years old. The stuff in the bottle wasn't the answer for me to have great self esteem; it's the laughing, the sense of accomplishment, the loving the little parts of me; the compliments, my passion, wearing heels with my hot ass jeans. It's about wearing pigtails even with a bald spot showing, it's about seeing my big gorgeous green eyes when I look in the mirror. It's all those little things that make me feel greater than great. It was all that, that taught me how to feel great about me, not the magic stuff in the bottle that never worked.'
