Trafford Publishing Author Publishes a Memoir about the Hardships and Humor of Serving America

Editor's Choice Award Winner Robert Poindexter Relives His Military Days through his self published memoir

BLOOMINGTON, IN, June 26, 2010 /Publishing and Books PR News/ -- An involuntary mission to join the US Army was given to a 22 year old Robert Poindexter in the 70s and his life has never been the same since. Follow Poindexter's humorous look at life in the U.S. Army that traces his induction, basic training in Kentucky, Air Defense School in Texas and a thirteen month tour in Korea. His plan for a career in advertising took a standstill as he tried to find a niche in the Army where a man could serve America for two years and still emerge unscathed. Relive Robert's military experiences through journal entries written during the period as he shares fond memories in That Shade of Green.
