Faye Landrum Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who

Faye Landrum wrote her first book at the age of 12

    Pataskala, OH, August 3, 2009 /Publishing and Books PR News/ -- Faye Landrum, Author, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in writing.

Ms. Landrum is a retired registered nurse and has been a published freelance writer since 1969. Her work has been accepted in more that 400 Christian and secular publications for children and adults. She is also the author of six books, of which three are still in print: The Final Miles A Wife's Response to her Husband's Terminal Illness published by Tyndale in 1999 and re¬released by Pleasant Word in 2003; Acquainted with Grief: Encouraging Meditations for Times of Loss published by Barbour Publishing in 2006 and re-released by Barbour Publishing as Moments of Comfort: Encouraging Meditations for Times of Loss in 2008; Maggots, Miracles and Me: One Woman's Fight for Life that Changed Modern Medicine published by Xulon Press in 2007. Encouraging Meditations for Tunes of Loss is featured on her web site as an auditory book that is available for purchase on two CDs. She also writes a weekly column entitled "Leaps of Faith" for a local newspaper. The column is syndicated to three other newspapers.

Ms. Landrum received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida in 1952. She attained status as a registered nurse from Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing in 1948. She has always loved writing and has been able to spend more time on it since her retirement from nursing. She attributes her success to tier faith in God.
